Role Description The Outreach Intern role is an internship position based in New Delhi with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing a combination of on-site work and some work from home. The intern will support outreach activities by coordinating with organizations, community groups, and volunteers, helping to plan and execute visits, events, and social impact initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include conducting drafting outreach messages, managing communication channels, and maintaining records of engagement and feedback.

The intern will assist in building relationships with communities served by Snneh, respond to inquiries from interested volunteers,



and help create simple written updates or reports on ongoing projects. This role is designed for individuals who want hands-on experience in community engagement and social impact while developing practical communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

1. Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with communities, partners, and volunteers.

- Candidates should possess Community Outreach and Research skills to identify opportunities, gather information, and support engagement initiatives.
- Candidates should possess Writing skills to draft outreach messages, social media updates, and basic reports or documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, inclusive environment and show sensitivity toward vulnerable communities.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with reliability in meeting commitments and deadlines.
- Interest in social impact, volunteering, and community service; prior experience in nonprofit or volunteer work is a plus but not required.

7.Basic proficiency with online communication tools and social media platforms for coordinating outreach and volunteer engagement.
