Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based at Hearwell Speech & Hearing Clinics Pvt Ltd. in Jalandhar I.

The Occupational

Therapist will assess clients’ functional abilities, design individualized therapy plans, and deliver interventions that support daily living, communication, and sensory processing, with a focus on clients with hearing and speech-related challenges.

Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, documenting progress, collaborating with audiologists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals, and educating clients and caregivers on strategies to enhance independence and participation in home, school,



and community settings. The role involves working with pediatric and adult populations, providing therapy sessions, and contributing to interdisciplinary case discussions to ensure integrated, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation to assess functional needs and implement effective therapeutic interventions.
- Relevant knowledge of Medicine and healthcare principles to collaborate safely and effectively within a clinical team.
- Excellent Communication skills to interact with clients, families, and colleagues and to provide clear education and counseling.
- Experience or interest in Pediatrics to support children with hearing, speech, and developmental needs.
- Recognized degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the appropriate skilled or licensing body, as required by local regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach and willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
