— Medicine Purchase Manager Job Title: Medicine Purchase Manager Department: Purchase & Supply Chain Function: Purchase – Quality Management Location: Machhua Toli, Patna Region Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month Employment Status: Active Job Summary: We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Medicine Purchase Manager to manage the procurement of medicines and healthcare products. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with suppliers, ensuring timely purchases, maintaining stock availability, and checking product quality and documentation.

Key Responsibilities: Purchase medicines and healthcare products from approved suppliers. Coordinate with wholesalers, distributors, and vendors for orders and deliveries. Compare prices, availability, quality, and payment terms before purchasing.

Ensure medicines are purchased from authorized and reliable sources. Monitor stock levels and arrange timely replenishment. Check batch numbers, expiry dates, MRP, quantity, and product condition. Maintain purchase orders, invoices, and supplier records.





Coordinate with the store/warehouse team for receiving and verifying stock. Follow proper storage and quality requirements for medicines. Track near-expiry and slow-moving products. Resolve issues related to shortages, damaged products, returns, and replacements.

Maintain good relationships with suppliers and negotiate commercially suitable rates. Prepare purchase reports and maintain accurate records.

Requirements: Experience in medicine/pharmacy purchase, medical store, or pharmaceutical distribution preferred. Knowledge of medicines, medical products, and pharmaceutical suppliers. Good negotiation and vendor-management skills. Basic computer knowledge, especially MS Excel. Positive communication and coordination skills. Ability to maintain accurate purchase and inventory records. Candidates with pharmacy/medical-store experience will be preferred.

Experience: 1–3 years preferred.

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000/month, depending on experience and skills.
