Category Manager – Nutraceuticals & FMCG

About the Role

HealthSense is looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Category Manager to build and scale current product categories, with an initial focus on:

* Whey protein and protein supplements
* Nutraceutical and wellness products
* Other relevant FMCG and health-related categories

This is an end-to-end category ownership role. The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying product opportunities, finding reliable suppliers, understanding licensing and compliance requirements, developing products, and successfully launching and scaling them across Amazon, quick-commerce platforms and other e-commerce channels.

We are looking for someone with practical category-building experience who can independently take a category from initial research to a successful commercial launch.

Key Responsibilities

Category Strategy and Product Selection

* Conduct market,



competition, pricing and customer-review analysis to identify new product opportunities.
* Build a category roadmap based on market size, demand, competition, margins and HealthSense’s brand positioning.
* Identify the right product assortment, formulations, flavours, pack sizes, pricing and positioning.
* Prepare detailed business plans, including estimated sales, margins, investment, inventory and launch timelines.
* Track category performance and take corrective actions to improve sales, profitability and inventory movement.

Supplier Identification and Product Development

* Identify and evaluate reliable manufacturers, contract manufacturers and private-label suppliers.
* Maintain a strong supplier network within nutraceuticals, supplements, FMCG and wellness categories.
* Negotiate product costs, MOQs, payment terms, lead times, exclusivity and quality requirements.
