Java Developer - Kochi (Only Locals)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with 5 to 9 years of expertise to design and build scalable backend solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep proficiency in core Java and the Spring Boot framework for developing robust microservices and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities include managing relational databases, writing comprehensive automated tests, and ensuring seamless CI/CD integrations using modern DevOps tools. You will collaborate closely within an Agile environment, actively contributing to system architecture, code reviews, and the mentorship of junior engineers. Additionally, practical experience with AWS or other cloud environments, along with industry knowledge in the automotive sector, will be considered a strong advantage.

- Core Experience: 6 to 9 years of hands-on backend software development experience with a strong foundation in core Java (Java 11 or 17 preferred) and object-oriented design principles.
- Framework Expertise: Proven track record of architecting, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance microservices utilizing the Spring Boot framework.
- API Development: Deep understanding of designing, building, documenting,



and securing robust RESTful APIs for complex enterprise systems and frontend integrations.
- Database Management: Solid knowledge of relational databases (such as PostgreSQL or MySQL), encompassing schema design, query optimization, and Spring Data JPA.
- Development Tools: Hands-on experience with modern software engineering workflows, including Git version control, Maven or Gradle build tools, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Code Quality & Testing: Robust commitment to delivering reliable software, utilizing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito for comprehensive unit and integration testing.
- Agile Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to thrive within cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams, actively participating in system design discussions, sprint ceremonies, and peer code reviews.
- Problem Solving: Proven capability to troubleshoot complex production issues, optimize application performance, and mentor junior developers in best practices.
- Cloud Infrastructure (Good to Have): Familiarity with deploying, monitoring, and scaling applications on cloud platforms, with a preference for Amazon Web Services (AWS) or equivalent public clouds (GCP/Azure).
- Domain Knowledge (Good to Have): Prior exposure to the automotive sector, particularly involving connected vehicle platforms, IoT data streams, or telemetry systems.
