Position Summary

Responsible for overseeing and managing labour relations activities for FC India. This includes overseeing and negotiating labour contracts, resolving labour disputes, creating, and implementing L&ER; policies, and providing guidance and training to managers and supervisors. This position often works closely with union representatives (internal and external) for healthy industrial relations, statutory and local governing bodies, factory supervisory staff to ensure compliance with employment and other applicable laws. Will also work closely with other plant HR Teams (internal and external), sharing and benchmarking Labour & Employee Relations practices.

Responsibilities

Compliance:

Ensure compliances & implementation of various provisions regarding health, safety and welfare of the employees laid down under Factories Act & other various Act.
Conduct Audits to ensure Parker and Contractors are compliant to all applicable statutory requirements.
Preparing Annual Returns, Half yearly Returns,



and Maintaining Statutory Registers and complying all the statutory requirements under Factories Act, Contract Labour Act and other various Act.
Liaising with various Government Authorities like Revenue, Police, Judicial, EB, Labour, PF and ESI Department for filing returns, obtaining approvals / clearances.
Attending Labour Court, Industrial Tribunals, Case hearings in PF & ESI, & Conciliation meetings; following up the court cases.
Co-ordination with advocates for employment related cases in the Courts / Tribunals
POSH Committee and Awareness Sessions, Regular meetings with employees.
Engagement
Developing and maintaining harmonious and progressive employee relations through two-way communication and employee involvement.
Conduct cultural intervention programs, Team building programs, Employee Benefit Schemes, Sports activities, Community Relationship Development activities etc., to enhance motivation levels and productivity.
