: Production & Maintenance Engineer

Role & Responsibilities:

Production Management

Deliver production in line with the production plan.

Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Maintain yields and usages within target specifications.

Maintenance Operations

Execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Time-Based Maintenance (TBM) on Hot Fill line equipment (including Blowmold, Filler, Conveyors, Shrinkwrap, Palletiser, Stretchwrapper, compressors, chillers, and cooling towers).

Perform breakdown maintenance for all equipment promptly during shifts.

Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for breakdowns.

Manpower Management

Handle manning requisition and allocate available manpower to various workstations during the shift.

Verify CLTI (Cleaning, Lubrication, Tightening, and Inspection) logs and manage shift rejections.

Equipment Management

Conduct daily 1-hour inspections per equipment focusing on 5S, CLTI, PM, abnormality identification, tagging, operator training, and safety.

Maintain run hours of each equipment in SAP.

Generate PM schedules, enter abnormalities, and close tags, aiming to reduce total tag age below 7 days.

Plan, communicate, and execute punch list activities during maintenance windows.





Perform Contract Workforce Management system entries and maintain preform tracking sheets.

Safety and Quality Assurance

Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, including machine guarding, safety interlocks, and LOTO system during maintenance.

Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as per company standards.

Ensure finished goods meet quality protocols.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related fields.

Diploma in Engineering is also acceptable.

Experience:

2-3 years of relevant experience in the Beverage industry.

Skills

Expertise in production and maintenance within an FMCG workplace.

Proficiency in handling Hot Fill line equipment.

Strong understanding of safety protocols and GMP standards.

Experience with SAP for equipment management and maintenance scheduling.

Effective manpower management and workforce allocation skills.

Strong problem-solving skills with experience in RCA and CAPA.

Knowledge of 5S, CLTI, PM, and equipment tagging processes.
