Job Summary The Java/Python Engineer Role:

The Software Engineer must have demonstrable hands-on experience that shows understanding of how Digital Solutions play a critical role in an organization and has experience working in BE technologies. The Software Engineer will be able to demonstrate that he/she can select the right methodologies and management practices.

The successful candidate will be contributing to the overall strategy and evolution of the technology platforms used to support the Digital Solutions workplace, including cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for the low-level technical design of all customer solutions
- Contributing to the business plan and business case for new solution development
- Contribute to the technical solution development roadmap where applicable
- Identifying and filling gaps to ensure solutions are developed on time, within budget and with the required quality
- Contribute and influence guidelines (i.e. concepts, policies, principles, rules, patterns, interfaces and standards) to use when building new solutions.

Requirements

Desired Skills and Experience

- Must have experience working in Java, Python, Apache Nifi/Flink and Iceberg technologies.
- Proficient in Java and Python.
- Proficient in ETL & ELT Tools.




- Knowledge in developing database applications with Postgre SQL, MongoDB
- Experience working in cloud-based technologies AWS, GCP
- Experience in building CICD Pipelines, Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes
- Good to have knowledge on Redis, NGIX, PDF JS, PDF Tron, PDF Box
- Performing unit and integration testing
- Communicating changes to documentation and QA teams
- Experience in Agile development methodology and Scrum
- Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
- Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan
