Role Description This is a full-time, in office Interior Designer (Commercial) role based in Kochi.

The Interior

Designer will work on commercial projects from concept to completion, including understanding client requirements, developing design concepts, and presenting mood boards, layouts, and material palettes. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing detailed drawings, specifying materials and FF&E;, ensuring designs are executed according to quality, budget, and timeline. The role involves regular site visits to monitor work progress, resolve design-related issues, and maintain consistency with approved plans.

The Interior

Designer will also contribute to project documentation,



and design reviews to ensure high-quality, functional, and brand-aligned spaces.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Interior Design and FF&E; selection, including materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Proficiency in Space Planning for commercial environments, optimizing layouts for functionality, flow, and user experience.
- Understanding of Architecture principles as they relate to interiors, including coordination with structural and MEP disciplines.
- Ability to produce accurate detailing, and documentation for on-site execution.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) and basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction methods relevant to commercial interiors.
- Strong visual communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with attention to detail and aesthetics.
- Ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in commercial interior projects (workplaces, retail, hospitality, or similar) is preferred.

Minimum of 2 years experience required in similar field.
