About the role

We are seeking a skilled

IMS Engineer to join our team and contribute to the enhancement, optimisation, and support of our network infrastructure. The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience with

Ericsson IMS Core technologies

, including VoLTE, SIP, and network integration, and will play a key role in maintaining reliable and high-performing IMS services.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, configure, and maintain

IMS architecture and components

.

- Provide hands-on support for

Ericsson IMS Core network technologies

, including VoLTE and SIP.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to IMS services, applications, and network integration.

- Perform network integration, configuration, testing, and validation activities.

- Monitor and optimise IMS network performance, availability, and reliability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and deliver network solutions.

- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure service quality and operational stability.

- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.

- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, technical procedures, troubleshooting activities, and operational processes.

- Stay up to date with industry standards, emerging technologies, and advancements in IMS and telecommunications.





- Support continuous improvement and innovation across IMS network operations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's degree in

Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering

, or a related field.

- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in IMS engineering, with strong experience in

Ericsson IMS Core technologies.

- Strong practical knowledge of

IMS, VoLTE, SIP, and multimedia services

.

- Experience with IMS network integration, configuration, troubleshooting, and support.

- Robust understanding of telecommunications protocols, architectures, and industry standards.

- Good knowledge of network design, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and technical teams in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are mandatory, as the role requires regular communication and collaboration with an international client based overseas.

Experience

- 3–5+ years of relevant IMS engineering experience

.

- Hands-on experience with

Ericsson IMS Core is mandatory.

- Experience with

VoLTE, SIP, IMS integration, and network support is highly desirable.
