Techwurkz is hiring an experienced GCP Database Administrator with robust Core DBA expertise and hands-on experience in GCP infrastructure, cloud database management, migration, and automation.

Position Details

✔ Role: GCP Database Administrator

✔ Experience: 3+ Years Relevant | Up to 10 Years Overall

✔ Location: Bengaluru & Hyderabad

✔ Work Model: Hybrid

✔ Shift: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM IST

✔ Employment Type: Full-time

What You'll Do

✔ Administer and support enterprise databases across GCP infrastructure and services.

✔ Manage database performance, backup/recovery, reliability, and capacity.

✔ Work with BigQuery and other GCP database services.

✔ Support database migrations using Database Migration Service, Datastream, and Dataflow.

✔ Perform query tuning, partitioning, replication, connection optimization, and capacity planning.

✔ Automate database administration and monitoring using Python or Bash.

✔ Implement IAM, audit logging, data classification, and security controls.

✔ Manage monitoring and alerting using Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.

✔ Support DR, PITR, replication, RTO/RPO planning, incident management, and RCA.

✔ Drive database cost optimization and operational improvements.

What We're Looking For

✔ 3+ years of relevant Core DBA experience.





✔ Strong hands-on experience with GCP infrastructure and cloud database services.

✔ Strong traditional database administration and performance tuning expertise.

✔ Knowledge of BigQuery, database migration, backup/recovery, and cloud operations.

✔ Experience with Python/Bash automation and infrastructure provisioning.

✔ Strong understanding of database security, IAM, monitoring, and reliability.

✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
