Job Summary :
We are looking for a skilled PeopleSoft Administrator with hands-on experience in managing and supporting PeopleSoft environments.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in PeopleSoft administration, PeopleTools upgrades, PUM maintenance, WebLogic administration, Oracle databases, and Linux/Unix platforms.
Exposure to Java-based integrations, web services, and automation will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities :
- Administer, monitor, and maintain PeopleSoft environments across Development, QA, UAT, and Production.
- Perform PeopleSoft installations, configurations, environment refreshes, cloning, patching, and upgrades.
- Manage and support PeopleSoft Application Servers, Web Servers, Process Scheduler domains, and Integration Broker.
- Apply and maintain PeopleTools updates, PUM images, tax updates, and security patches.
- Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Oracle WebLogic Server environments.
- Monitor system performance and perform proactive troubleshooting and tuning to ensure optimal application availability.
- Support migration activities between environments and manage release deployments using PeopleSoft migration tools.
- Collaborate with development and functional teams to support enhancements, issue resolution, and project implementations.
- Manage PeopleSoft security, user provisioning, roles, and permission lists.
- Support integrations, web services (SOAP/REST), middleware components, and interface troubleshooting.
- Develop automation scripts and utilities to streamline administrative activities.
- Participate in on-call support and production issue resolution as required.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Strong experience in PeopleSoft Administration and environment management.
- Hands-on expertise with PeopleTools Upgrades and PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM).
- Experience administering Oracle WebLogic Server.
- Good understanding of Oracle Database architecture and administration concepts.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Integration Broker.
- Knowledge of SOAP/REST Web Services and middleware integrations.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments.
- Working knowledge of Java (Core Java/J2EE).
- Solid troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system monitoring skills.
- Experience with migration, change management, and release deployment processes.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience supporting PeopleSoft HCM, FSCM, Campus Solutions, or CRM applications.
- Exposure to cloud-hosted or hybrid PeopleSoft environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of scripting and automation tools will be an added advantage.
