Role Description The Fragrance Manager is a full time, on-site role based at our Noida facility. This role is responsible for developing, evaluating, and optimizing fragrances for a wide range of personal care products, ensuring alignment with brand positioning, regulatory requirements, and market trends.

The Fragrance

Manager will collaborate closely with R&D;, product development, marketing, and manufacturing teams to brief, select, and refine fragrance profiles, as well as manage fragrance libraries and documentation. Day-to-day activities include conducting olfactory assessments, coordinating with fragrance houses and raw material suppliers, monitoring stability and performance of fragrances in different formulations, and providing technical guidance on fragrance integration during scale-up and production.



The role also involves tracking consumer preferences, maintaining high sensory quality standards, and supporting client presentations with fragrance recommendations and insights.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in fragrance development, evaluation, and selection for personal care and cosmetic products, including familiarity with essential oils and aroma chemicals.
- Experience working with product formulation teams, especially in hair care, skin care, face care, baby care, and men’s grooming categories.
- Knowledge of regulatory and safety standards related to fragrances and cosmetic ingredients, including IFRA guidelines and relevant global compliance norms.
- Ability to conduct sensory assessments, maintain fragrance libraries, and document technical specifications with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with R&D;, manufacturing, quality assurance, and marketing, and to communicate clearly with clients and suppliers.
- Analytical and research skills to track market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor products, and to translate insights into fragrance strategies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Perfumery, or a related field; specialized training in perfumery or fragrance technology is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a fragrance house, cosmetic, or personal care manufacturing environment, preferably in a managerial or senior specialist role.
