About the Role
We are looking for a qualified Electrical Engineer to join our Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team for supervision and monitoring of electrical works at residential redevelopment and construction projects across Mumbai and the MMR region.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that electrical works executed by contractors are in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, project schedules and applicable regulations. PMC electrical supervision typically includes execution monitoring, quality checks, measurements/bill verification, documentation and coordination with contractors and other consultants.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day electrical works at project sites.
Monitor contractor's execution as per approved electrical drawings, specifications and BOQ.
Inspect electrical installations including:
LT/HT electrical systems
Transformers and DG sets
Electrical panels and distribution boards
Cable laying and termination
Earthing and lightning protection
Common-area electrical systems
Lighting and power distribution
Fire alarm and related ELV systems
CCTV, access control and other ELV works
Lifts and electrical interface works
Review electrical shop drawings, material submittals and technical specifications.
Check quality of electrical materials delivered to site.
Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors and vendors.
Identify technical issues at site and coordinate for timely resolution.
Monitor progress against the approved project schedule.
Maintain Daily Progress Reports, inspection reports and site records.
Verify measurements of electrical works executed by contractors.
Assist in checking and certification
