MAD School is a design coaching institute, providing coaching for entrance exams like NATA, NIFT, NID, CEED, UCEED, B.Design, and other design entrance exams. Established in 2012, MAD School has trained over 5000+ students with a focus on nurturing creativity in the design industry. We offer both online and offline coaching classes and are located in the heart of Hyderabad, Chennai and Kochi, making it easily accessible for students.

Role Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled faculty member to teach drawing and sketching to design aspirants from beginner to intermediate levels through both online and offline classes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design, excellent sketching skills, and a commitment to helping students excel. In addition to teaching, the faculty member will provide feedback, counsel students on college admissions, and mentor them on academic and professional goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Teaching Students Drawing Skills: Teach students the fundamentals of drawing and advanced techniques in design and sketching through both online and offline sessions.
- Providing Feedback and Critique: Offer constructive feedback on student work to help them improve their skills and develop their individual style. Regularly correct answer sheets and publish results.
- Conducting Assessments: Prepare test papers, conduct mock tests, and evaluate mark sheets to monitor and track student progress.
- Advising and Mentoring Students: Guide students on academic and professional goals, including providing advice on internships, career opportunities, portfolio development, and college admissions for design programs.




- College Counseling: Assist students, when required, in understanding and selecting suitable design colleges based on their interests, aptitude, performance, and career aspirations.
- Maintaining Attendance: Maintain accurate attendance records for both online and offline classes.
- Classroom Management: Create a positive, encouraging, and creative learning environment that supports student engagement and skill development.
- Outreach Programs: Plan and conduct outreach programs such as school visits, workshops, career-awareness sessions, drawing and design competitions, and introductory design classes to promote design education and engage with prospective students.
- Staying Updated: Keep up to date with the latest trends, design practices, entrance examination patterns, and developments in design education to ensure effective and relevant teaching.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Design, Fine Arts, Architecture, or a related field.
- Solid sketching and drawing skills, with a portfolio showcasing your work.
- Prior teaching experience in design coaching (preferred).
- Knowledge of entrance exams like NIFT, NID, UCEED, CEED, NATA, and JEE Paper 2 is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and mentor students toward achieving their design career goals.

Salary: ₹15,000 - ₹25,000 per month
