Role Overview :

We are looking for a Delivery Architect who combines deep hands-on engineering expertise with strong architecture, technical leadership, and mentorship capabilities. This is a player-coach role where you will spend approximately 50% of your time writing production code and solving critical engineering problems, with the remaining time focused on architecture, design, technical oversight, and mentoring engineers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own architecture covering FHIR R4, APIs, data models, service boundaries, and integrations.
- Write production code using NestJS, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and FHIR APIs.
- Lead technical design reviews and ensure production readiness.
- Drive technical delivery, code quality, scalability, and architectural standards.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and design sessions.
- Identify and address technical debt and engineering skill gaps.
- Maintain ADRs, FHIR specifications, integration diagrams, and technical documentation.




- Provide technical oversight for distributed teams and contribute to technical hiring.

What We're Looking For :

- Robust backend and systems architecture experience.
- Proven production experience with FHIR R4 and healthcare/payer workflows.
- Strong expertise in NestJS, DTOs, Kafka, PostgreSQL, APIs, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with PostgreSQL schema design, indexing, partitioning, ORM, and JSONB.
- Experience in healthcare, payer, clinical, or eClaims domains is preferred.
- Strong mentoring and technical leadership skills.
- Comfortable working with remote, cross-geography engineering teams.
- This is not an architecture-only role; the successful candidate must be comfortable writing production code, owning technical delivery, and actively mentoring engineers.
