Company Description
Grind Prep is a practice platform for frontend developers preparing for technical interviews. It covers JavaScript fundamentals and polyfills, async patterns, DOM manipulation, React coding challenges, CSS layouts, UI recreation, frontend system design, and a Blind 75 algorithms track. Problems are hands-on — user code runs against real test cases in a sandboxed setting rather than being self-graded — and are supported by AI-generated quizzes and an AI-assisted resume builder.
The platform is built for engineers who want practice that mirrors what actually gets asked in real interview rounds.
Role Description The Content & Growth Intern will create and maintain the learning content that powers Grind Prep's practice tracks. Day-to-day work includes writing and editing problem explanations, solution walkthroughs, and project briefs across the platform's tracks — JavaScript and DOM problems, React challenges, CSS layouts, UI recreation, frontend system design, and Blind 75 algorithms. Several of these tracks are early and thinly populated; expanding them is a core part of this role.
The intern will also refine existing material for clarity, publish content to the platform, run Grind Prep's social presence, and reach out to college placement cells and developer communities.
Grind Prep is an early-stage product, and the intern will work directly with the founder rather than within a large team.
The content you write goes live, and you will see its impact on traffic and engagement firsthand.
This is a remote, part-time role of approximately 2–3 hours per day, 5 days a week, for an initial duration of 3 months (extendable). A stipend of ₹4500 per month is offered, along with a certificate and letter of recommendation on successful completion. Applicants must have their own laptop and a reliable internet connection.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, including clear written expression for technical audiences.
- Web content writing skills to produce concise, structured, and learner-friendly material.
- Ability to explain a technical concept clearly to someone encountering it for the first time. Please include a writing sample with your application — a blog post, article, or any piece where we can see how you explain an idea.
- Working familiarity with JavaScript and React — enough to read a solution and explain why it works. You do not need to be a strong engineer.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines without close supervision.
- Willingness to learn SEO and analytics basics.
- Current student or recent graduate in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Communications, or related) preferred, but strong writing matters more than a degree.
