Role Description The Architectural Photographer will work full time on-site at DESA’s location in Kapashera, documenting architectural projects and interiors through high-quality photography. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing photo shoots, coordinating with architects and designers to understand project intent, and capturing images that highlight design elements, materials, and spatial qualities. The role involves selecting, editing, and retouching images, organizing and archiving visual assets, and preparing photographs for use in presentations, publications, marketing materials, and digital platforms.





The Architectural

Photographer will also support the firm’s branding and communication efforts by maintaining a consistent visual style and collaborating closely with the design and marketing teams.

Qualifications

- Strong architectural photography skills, including composition, lighting, and understanding of space and form.
- Proficiency with professional camera equipment, lenses, tripods, and related accessories, plus basic studio or on-location lighting setups.
- Experience with photo editing and post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar software).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, designers, and marketing staff, and to interpret design concepts visually.
- Solid organizational skills for managing files, maintaining image libraries, and handling multiple projects and deadlines.
- Attention to detail, reliability in on-site work environments, and readiness to travel locally to project sites as needed.
- Relevant education or training in photography, visual arts, or a related field; prior experience in architectural or interior photography is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with digital and print publishing workflows, and an interest in architecture, design, and the built workplace.
