Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Accountant at Excel Granite. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.

The role involves preparing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The Accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, maintain accurate records, and assist with tax preparation and regulatory reporting.



Additional responsibilities include collaborating with operations and sales teams on cost analysis, pricing, and financial performance, while recommending process improvements to support the company’s growth.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in general accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Candidates should possess skills in cost accounting, inventory tracking, and margin analysis.
- Candidates should possess skills in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar), spreadsheets, and basic financial modeling.
- Candidates should possess skills in attention to detail, data accuracy, and analytical problem-solving.
- Candidates should possess skills in written and verbal communication and the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
- Relevant experience in small business or manufacturing, construction, or stone fabrication environments is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; CPA or similar certification is a plus.
