Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and maintenance of ledgers.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing invoices, monitoring payments and receipts, assisting with budgeting, and supporting monthly and annual financial closing activities. The role also involves preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Guwahati,



working closely with the operations and management teams to support accurate and timely financial information.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including bookkeeping, ledger management, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Candidates should possess skills in accounts payable/receivable management, invoice processing, and cash flow tracking.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and office tools (e.g., Tally or similar systems, MS Excel, and other standard business applications).
- Candidates should possess knowledge of taxation, compliance, and relevant financial regulations applicable to businesses in India.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant academic background such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA) are an advantage.
- Solid communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and maintain accurate documentation.
- Prior experience in the travel, tourism, or service industry is beneficial, along with familiarity with multi-branch or multi-location accounting.
