Job Description:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Designer to support the design and drafting of Fire Protection Systems, including sprinkler systems, fire alarm layouts, and suppression systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AutoCAD and a solid understanding of fire protection design standards and codes.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for fire protection systems (sprinklers, alarms, standpipes, etc.).

Create plans, layouts, and schematics based on engineering specifications and building requirements.

Work closely with Fire Protection Engineers and Project Managers to meet design intent and deadlines.

Ensure all drawings comply with local, national, and international fire codes (e.g., NFPA, IBC).

Coordinate with other MEP disciplines and architectural plans.

Revise drawings as required based on design changes, field conditions, or feedback.

Maintain and organize drawing sets, version control, and project documentation.

Participate in site visits, if required, to support field verification and coordination.
Requirements:

Proven experience as an AutoCAD Designer in the Fire Protection industry.

Proficient in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit, Navisworks, or similar tools is a plus.

Robust knowledge of fire protection system design.

Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.
