Required candidate background
- Candidates should come from medical-device or pharmaceutical companies.
- They should possess strong knowledge of a particular country or region.
- Direct medical-device experience is preferred.
- Finished-formulation pharmaceutical candidates may also be considered.
- Candidates must have personally developed international business, rather than only managing documentation or export operations.
Eight assessment parameters
1. 10–15 years of total experience
2. At least five years of international-market exposure
3. Worked across at least three countries
4. Personally handled business in at least four countries
5. Managed a team of at least three people
6. Managed annual business of at least ₹20 crore

Worked in a company with annual revenue of ₹700 crore or more
8. Ideally worked as:

The ₹20 crore requirement refers to the minimum annual business personally handled by the candidate—not the revenue of their current company.
