Role Purpose:
- Overseeing the end-to-end Record to Report process within the finance function. This includes managing financial data recording, consolidation, reporting, and compliance.
- The role ensures timely and accurate financial reporting, supports strategic decision-making, and drives continuous improvement in RTR processes.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage RTR teams and collaborate with internal departments and external auditors.
- Lead journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with controls and regulations.
- Optimize ERP systems and leverage automation tools like RPA.AI and bring up BVA projects through lean and six sigma
- Monitor KPIs/SLAs and drive process standardization and automation.
- Implement efficiency improvements and stay current with industry best practices.
- Preparation and adherence to the SOP. Periodic update of the same
- Monthly/Quarterly governance deck and preparation of other reporting’s
- Technical Capabilities / Skills & Technical Descriptors:
Systems:
- Develop a moderate level of proficiency in the following systems:
- MS Office suite.
- Knowledge of Excel macro and MS access database creation
- Knowledge of Oracle (Finance modules)
VNA & Language:
- Have fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Can interact with customers in a skilled, courteous manner
Soft skills:
- Shows genuine empathy to customers experiencing connection difficulties.
