ISS STOXX is seeking an Index Business Analyst to join our team for Gurugram location.
Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders, ensuring clarity and feasibility.
- Translate business needs into structured, actionable tasks for technology and operations teams.
- Create process flow diagrams using Microsoft Visio to visualize workflows and system interactions.
- Work within JIRA to track project progress, manage tasks, and coordinate with relevant teams (preferred).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D;, Operations, and Engineering, to support current product development and enhancements.
- Assist in project management activities, including tracking milestones, managing dependencies, and ensuring timely execution.
- Facilitate communication between business and IT teams to ensure alignment and seamless implementation of solutions.
- Identify automation and process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support data-driven decision-making by leveraging analytical skills to evaluate business processes and recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, IT, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the index business and financial markets.
- Minimum five years of relevant experience as business analysis, financial services, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Visio to create detailed flow diagrams and process maps.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders across business and technology functions.
- Highly analytical mindset, with a passion for working with data to drive insights.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into structured solutions.
- Working knowledge of SQL and Python.
