About the Role

Key Responsibilities

GST Compliance
- Preparation and filing of GST Returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C.
- GST reconciliation and compliance review.
- Handling GST notices, assessments, and departmental communications.
- Advising clients on GST provisions and compliance requirements.
- Maintaining GST records and ensuring timely compliance.

TDS Compliance
- Preparation and filing of quarterly TDS returns.
- TDS reconciliation and correction statements.
- Generation and issuance of TDS certificates.
- Handling TDS notices and assessments.
- Ensuring compliance with provisions of the Income Tax Act relating to TDS.

Accounting & Finalization
- Finalization of books of accounts in Tally Prime.
- Ledger scrutiny, reconciliation, and review of accounting records.
- Preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Assisting in statutory, tax, and internal audits.




- Ensuring proper accounting treatment as per applicable laws and standards.

Team Management
- Lead and supervise a team of 2-3 executives.
- Allocate work, monitor deadlines, and review team outputs.
- Train team members on GST, TDS, and accounting compliances.
- Ensure high-quality and timely delivery of client assignments.

Client Communication & Documentation
- Coordinate with clients for obtaining information and resolving compliance issues.
- Maintain proper documentation and compliance records.
- Attend client meetings and provide compliance-related support.

Required Technical Skills
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Tally Prime
- Computax
- Compute GST
- Compute TDS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and audit procedures.
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent qualification.
