Quality Assurance Engineer (Manual Testing)The Role

What you need for this role
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle, Software Development Life Cycle (STLC), SDLC and Bug Life Cycle.
- Experience in writing detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Hands-on experience in functional, regression, integration, smoke, and system testing.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development workplace, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and release cycles.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar bug-tracking tools.
- Understanding of API testing, automation testing & database validation is a plus.
- Exposure to Performance Testing with hands-on experience using tools such as Apache JMeter, LoadRunner,



or similar performance testing tools is a plus.

What you will be doing
- Analyze business and technical requirements to create comprehensive test strategies and test cases.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using project management tools.
- Conduct regression testing before every release cycle.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release discussions.
- Ensure product quality meets business expectations before deployment.
- Maintain proper documentation of test cases, execution reports, and release notes.
- Support the Customer Success Team in identifying and resolving production issues.
