Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities.
- Supervise shop floor operations, including sheet metal fabrication, stamping, bending, welding, assembly, and machining processes.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
- Prepare and implement process sheets, work instructions, and production plans.
- Monitor machine utilization, productivity, and overall equipment efficiency.
- Coordinate with the quality department to resolve production-related issues.
- Analyze engineering drawings, manufacturing drawings, and technical specifications.
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce rejection, rework, and cycle time.
- Ensure proper material flow and coordinate with stores for material availability.
- Manage and guide operators, technicians, and supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and 5S practices.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel to minimize machine downtime.
- Prepare production reports and maintain production records.

Technical Requirements (mandatory)




- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Press shop and stamping operations.
- Bending and press brake operations.
- MIG welding and fabrication techniques.
- CNC machining operations.
- Production planning and process control.
- Measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauges.
- Root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
- Manufacturing process documentation.

Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3-8 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication and press components will be preferred.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office will be an added advantage.
