ACCOUNTANT (FINALIZATION)

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Accounting & Finalization:
- Finalization of books of accounts on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Preparation of Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statements, and schedules.
- Ensuring compliance with Accounting Standards (AS) applicable in India.
- Project-wise accounting, job costing, and margin analysis (interior projects)
- Taxation (India Compliance):
- Income Tax finalization including computation of taxable income
- Filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR) for company/firm
- Handling Income Tax notices, scrutiny assessments, and replies
- GST Compliance including:
- GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation
- Annual Return GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C
- GST audits and departmental queries
- TDS Compliance includes:
- TDS deductions as per Income Tax Act, 1961
- Filing of TDS returns (24Q, 26Q)
- Reconciliation with Form 26Q/26AS and issuance of TDS certificates
- PF, ESIC, Gratuity, BOCW, Insurance Compliance
- Audit & CA Co-ordination:
- Handling Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, and Internal Audit




- Single point of contact for Chartered Accountants and tax consultants
- Responding to CA inquiries, audit queries, and compliance requirements
- Preparation of audit schedules and supporting documents
- Statutory & Regulatory Compliance:
- Compliance with:
- Companies Act / Partnership Act / LLP Act (as applicable)
- Income Tax Act, 1961
- GST Act
- MSME Act
- Ensuring timely statutory filings and documentation
- MIS & Management Reporting:
- Preparation of MIS reports, ageing reports, and cash flow statements
- Monitoring accounts receivable, payable, and bank reconciliations
- Supporting management with financial analysis and reports
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Solid working knowledge of Indian taxation (Income Tax & GST)
- Hands-on experience in finalization and audit handling
- Experience in interior / construction / contracting industry preferred
- Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, and MS Excel
