Job Title: Accountant

Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, regulatory compliance, and policy adherence.
- Manage GST compliance including returns filing, reconciliation, and addressing notices/queries.
- Handle direct and indirect taxation (Income Tax, TDS, GST, Professional Tax, etc.).
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns.
- Prepare and maintain books of accounts, ledgers, and financial statements as per statutory norms.
- Coordinate and support statutory, internal, and tax audits; ensure timely closure of audit requirements.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts, vendor/customer balances, and tax-related transactions.
- Liaise with tax consultants, auditors, and regulatory authorities as required.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and ensure compliance with the latest regulations.
- Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting, and MIS reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards,



and statutory requirements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in internal audit, compliance audit, or operational risk management within financial institutions.
- Experience in drafting and maintaining policies and SOPs.
- Previous experience in fintech, payments companies, or cryptocurrency exchanges is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST laws, Income Tax Act, and Companies Act.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, risk management strategies, and internal control evaluations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
