CNC Laser Machine Operator - Job Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Laser Cutting Machines

Run machines such as fiber laser or sheet metal laser cutting machines according to production requirements.
- Machine Setup

Load raw material (metal sheets, pipes, etc.) and set machine parameters like speed, power, and cutting path.
- Read Technical Drawings

Understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and cutting dimensions before starting production.
- Programming / File Loading

Upload CNC programs (G-code or software-generated cutting files) into the machine system.
- Monitor Cutting Process

Watch machine performance during operation and ensure accurate cutting quality.
- Quality Inspection

Check finished parts for correct size, edge quality, tolerance, and defects.
- Basic Maintenance

Clean lenses/nozzles, check gas pressure, lubricate moving parts, and perform daily maintenance.
- Material Handling





Load/unload metal sheets or workpieces safely using proper handling methods.
- Troubleshooting

Identify easy machine errors such as alignment issues, nozzle blockage, or cutting defects.
- Safety Compliance

Follow industrial safety rules, wear PPE, and handle laser equipment safely.
- Production Reporting

Record production quantity, machine downtime, rejected parts, and maintenance logs.
- Coordinate with Production Team

Work with supervisors, design engineers, and quality teams to meet production targets.

Skills Usually Required
- Knowledge of CNC machine operation
- Basic understanding of G-code programming
- Drawing reading skills
- Measuring tools usage (Vernier caliper, micrometer)
- Mechanical aptitude
- Safety awareness

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
