Job Description - Store Executive

Position Title: Store Executive

Department: Stores & Inventory

Reporting To: Store Manager / Plant Head

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Issue materials to production and other departments as per approved requisitions.
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory transactions.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation.

Store Operations
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and identification of materials.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within the store area.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and inventory control procedures.
- Manage material movement and documentation efficiently.
- Ensure proper handling and preservation of materials.

Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), stock registers, issue records, and inventory reports.




- Update inventory records in ERP or inventory management systems.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
- Coordinate with the purchase, production, and accounts departments for inventory-related activities.

Compliance & Coordination
- Ensure adherence to company policies and inventory control procedures.
- Support internal and external audits related to inventory and stores.
- Coordinate with vendors and transporters for material receipt and dispatch activities.
- Assist management in improving store processes and inventory accuracy.

Required Skills:
- Knowledge of inventory management and store operations.
- Experience with ERP software, inventory systems, and MS Excel.
- Understanding of stock control procedures and material handling.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
