Key Responsibilities

As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smiths mission by:
- Designing user-centered interfaces for internal tools, dashboards, web applications, SharePoint experiences, forms, digital workflows, presentation-support tools, and other business-facing digital solutions.
- Creating low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, mockups, user flows, journey maps, sitemaps, and information architecture models to support the design and development process.
- Collaborating with business analysts, developers, marketing teams, proposal teams, communications teams, technical subject matter experts, and internal stakeholders to define user needs and create high-quality UI/UX solutions.
- Translating business requirements, user requirements, and workflow challenges into intuitive, accessible, and visually consistent digital experiences.
- Developing user personas, task flows, journey maps, process flows, content hierarchies, and navigation structures to guide the design of user-friendly products and tools.




- Creating graphical user interface components such as menus, tabs, widgets, cards, forms, buttons, dashboards, layouts, icons, templates, and reusable interface elements.
- Supporting the creation and maintenance of scalable design systems, UI component libraries, templates, and best-practice design patterns for recurring MSC and business needs.
- Designing digital experiences that align with CDM Smith brand standards, typography, color theory, accessibility expectations, layout principles, and visual communication best practices.
- Performing usability reviews, collecting user feedback, identifying pain points, and recommending design improvements to enhance user experience and adoption.
- Supporting the upgrade or redesign of existing applications, tools, dashboards, or digital experiences to align with contemporary UI/UX frameworks and current design practices.
