Key responsibilities:

Prepare BOQ and quantity take-offs from drawings.

Prepare detailed estimates and cost analysis.

Perform rate analysis for civil and finishing works.

Verify site measurements and contractor/subcontractor quantities.

Prepare and check RA bills, subcontractor bills and final bills.

Track project quantities, costs and variations against BOQ.

Handle material reconciliation and quantity reconciliation.

Prepare comparative statements and support vendor/subcontractor negotiations.

Monitor project expenditure and assist with cost control.

Review drawings, specifications and changes affecting project cost.

Coordinate with Project, Planning, Procurement and Accounts teams.

Maintain quantity/cost records and commercial documentation.

Preferred profile:

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related qualification.

5-10 years' experience in residential construction/real estate.

Robust knowledge of BOQ, estimation, billing, rate analysis and quantity surveying.

Experience with Excel and AutoCAD; knowledge of QS/estimation software is an advantage.

Good understanding of construction materials, specifications and contracts.
