In-Process Quality Control Inspector

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-process inspections at different stages of production.
- Inspect dimensions and product characteristics as per drawings and specifications.
- Use Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Screw Gauge, Gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Monitor production processes and identify quality deviations.
- Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation.
- Identify, segregate, and report defective or non-conforming products.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure corrective actions are implemented for repeated defects.
- Perform first-piece and periodic inspections during production.
- Ensure products are manufactured as per approved standards and work instructions.
- Maintain proper handling and calibration of measuring instruments.
- Follow company quality procedures, safety standards, and 5S practices.

Qualification
- ITI / Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical or related discipline.

Experience




- 1–5 years of experience in In-Process Quality Inspection, preferably in a manufacturing or precision engineering industry.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of engineering drawings and specifications.
- Hands-on experience with Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Screw Gauge, and gauges.
- Knowledge of dimensional inspection and basic quality control concepts.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and quality documentation.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to identify and analyze production defects.
