Job Title: Associate Admission & Billing

About the Role

The Associate Admission & Billing at Manipal Hospitals will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient patient admission process while maintaining accuracy in billing and payment procedures. The role involves direct interaction with patients and their families, verification of insurance details, processing payments, resolving billing queries, and coordinating with various hospital departments to ensure a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients and their families during the admission process.
- Collect and verify all required patient documentation and information.
- Verify patient insurance details and communicate applicable coverage and financial responsibilities clearly.
- Process patient payments, including deposits, co-payments, and other applicable charges.
- Handle patient billing inquiries and assist in resolving discrepancies in patient accounts.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential patient records in accordance with hospital policies and applicable regulations.




- Coordinate with medical, insurance, finance, and administrative teams to resolve admission and billing-related issues.
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry in hospital management and billing systems.
- Support patients and families by providing transparent information regarding admission procedures, billing, payment requirements, and hospital policies.
- Assist senior team members and contribute to smooth operations during busy periods.
- Follow hospital policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations related to patient admissions, billing, and confidentiality.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach and contribute to improving the overall patient experience.
