The role carries end-to-end responsibility for Engineering, Maintenance, Reliability, Utilities, Projects, Automation, Energy Management, Asset Integrity, Statutory Compliance, and Engineering Excellence across a large chemical manufacturing operation.
Key Highlights of the Opportunity
- Leadership responsibility for an integrated chemical manufacturing site
- Driving plant reliability, uptime, safety, and engineering excellence
- Leading modernisation, automation, sustainability, and cost optimisation initiatives
- Managing capital projects, shutdowns, utilities, and infrastructure operations
- Building high-performance engineering teams and contractor ecosystems
- Exposure to global engineering, safety, and operational standards
We are particularly interested in senior engineering leaders with:
- 18-30 years of experience in chemical manufacturing
- Current experience heading Engineering & Maintenance functions
- Strong background in reliability, maintenance excellence, utilities, and plant operations
- Experience within multinational chemical manufacturing organisations
- Exposure to glass-lined and graphite equipment would be advantageous
