Job Title: Spot Welder

Job Summary:
Responsible for operating spot-welding machines to join metal components according to production specifications, drawings, and quality standards. The role requires proper machine operation, accurate positioning of parts, and inspection of welded joints.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate manual or automatic spot-welding machines safely and efficiently.
- Position and align metal components correctly before welding.
- Set welding parameters such as current, pressure, and welding time as required.
- Inspect welds for strength, appearance, and defects.
- Perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance.
- Follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and production schedules.
- Maintain required production quantity and quality standards.
- Use PPE and follow workplace safety procedures.
- Identify welding defects and report machine or material issues to the supervisor.
- Keep the workstation clean and organized.
- Record production and quality information when required.

Requirements:




- ITI/technical qualification in Welding, Fitter, Fabrication, or a related trade preferred.
- Previous experience in spot welding or sheet-metal fabrication is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of welding processes and metal components.
- Ability to read simple drawings/work instructions.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in shifts and meet production targets.
