Job Description:
- Handle plant-level costing, product costing and cost analysis.
- Prepare standard cost, actual cost and variance analysis for products/processes.
- Analyse material, labour, power, fuel, overhead and conversion costs.
- Monitor production cost, process losses, wastage, yield and manufacturing efficiencies.
- Prepare MIS reports, cost sheets, production cost statements and profitability analysis.
- Conduct monthly cost closing and reconciliation with Finance, Production and Stores.
- Identify cost overruns, leakages and cost-saving opportunities at plant level.
- Analyse RM consumption vs. standards/BOM and investigate variances.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and annual operating plan for manufacturing operations.
- Track inventory valuation, WIP, finished goods and slow/non-moving inventory.
- Develop product-wise / process-wise profitability analysis.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, PPC and Finance teams for accurate costing data.
- Support management in pricing decisions and cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of costing data in ERP/SAP.
