Job Description
QA/QC Engineer BESS PMC
The QA/QC Engineer BESS PMC will support site-level quality monitoring and verification activities for utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with approved quality plans, inspection procedures, OEM requirements, and project specifications throughout equipment delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Inspection Monitoring
- Review ITPs, FQPs,
material inspection records, FAT/SAT documentation, and approved inspection procedures.
- Conduct surveillance across civil works, equipment placement, electrical installation, PCS/MV systems, auxiliaries, HVAC/FSS, and commissioning activities.
- Verify compliance with approved specifications, procedures, and OEM requirements.
NCR & Corrective Action Management
- Register and monitor NCRs, CAPAs, concessions, deviations, and closure evidence.
- Track corrective actions and quality observations.
- Escalate recurring quality concerns and implementation gaps.
Documentation & Dossier Control
- Verify calibration certificates, test reports, OEM certificates, and traceability records.
- Monitor quality dossier completeness and turnover documentation.
- Ensure readiness of records supporting commissioning and handover.
Interface & Readiness Coordination
- Coordinate hold points and witness inspect
