Role Description
This is a full time on-site role for a Software Test Engineer located in Mylapore. The Software Test Engineer will design, create, and maintain test cases and test plans based on functional and technical requirements. The role involves executing manual and automated tests, identifying defects, reproducing issues, and collaborating with software development teams to ensure timely resolution. The Software Test Engineer will participate in reviews of requirements and designs, contribute to test strategy and coverage, and help improve testing processes and tools. The role also includes preparing test reports, tracking quality metrics, and supporting releases to ensure software meets performance, reliability, and security standards.
