Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools.
- Analyze and investigate security incidents, alerts and suspicious activities.
- Perform 24/7 security monitoring and incident triage.
- Identify potential threats, vulnerabilities and indicators of compromise.
- Escalate critical incidents to the appropriate security teams.
- Perform log analysis across endpoints, networks, servers and applications.
- Support incident response and security investigation activities.
- Prepare and maintain incident reports and SOC documentation.
- Follow defined SOPs, playbooks and escalation procedures.
- Monitor and respond to security events within defined SLAs.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in SOC / Security Operations / Cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, ArcSight, etc.
- Knowledge of network security, TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS and endpoint security.
- Understanding of common cyber threats, attacks and vulnerabilities.
- Positive knowledge of incident detection, analysis and response.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CEH, Security+, CySA+ are preferred.
