The HDPE Welder is responsible for joining HDPE pipes and fittings using approved butt fusion and electrofusion techniques. The role requires proper pipe preparation, alignment, welding, inspection, and maintenance of fusion equipment while following project specifications and safety procedures.
- Perform HDPE pipe jointing using butt fusion and electrofusion methods.
- Prepare, cut, clean, and align HDPE pipes before fusion.
- Operate HDPE butt fusion and electrofusion machines safely and correctly.
- Follow specified heating temperature, pressure, heating time, fusion time, and cooling time.
- Ensure proper pipe alignment before and during the fusion process.
- Inspect completed joints for visible defects and proper fusion.
- Maintain records of completed HDPE joints and welding activities.
- Follow approved method statements, drawings, specifications, and project procedures.
- Report defective joints, equipment problems, or other site issues to the supervisor.
- Assist in pipe laying, positioning,



shifting, and installation activities when required.

- Maintain and handle fusion machines, generators, heating plates, cutters, and other tools properly.
- Ensure the work area is clean and organized.
- Follow all site safety requirements and use appropriate PPE.
- Coordinate with pipeline supervisors, engineers, helpers, and other site workers.
- Experience in water supply, irrigation, gas, utility, infrastructure, or pipeline projects preferred.
- Knowledge of HDPE pipe sizes, fittings, alignment, and fusion procedures.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and project specifications.
- Valuable understanding of site safety procedures.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
