Role & responsibilities
- Plan, execute and monitor end-to-end production activities from production release to final dispatch.
- Lead fabrication, machining, assembly, integration and testing of electro-mechanical defence systems.
- Coordinate with Design, PPC, Procurement, QA, Stores and Project teams for timely execution.
- Ensure production readiness through availability of materials, tools, fixtures and manufacturing documentation.
- Monitor production schedules, identify bottlenecks and achieve On-Time Delivery (OTD).
- Coordinate with fabrication, machining and special process vendors.
- Support FAT, PDI, customer inspections and field trials.
- Coordinate with DGQA / Customer QA agencies for inspections and observation closure.
- Review drawings, BOMs, work orders and engineering changes before implementation.
- Drive productivity improvement and rework reduction.




- Prepare production MIS and project status reports.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturing processes, quality and safety requirements.

Preferred candidate profile
- 8-12 years experience in Defence and Aerospace manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end production management of low-volume, high-complexity systems.
- Experience in assembly, integration, testing and production execution.
- Exposure to FAT, customer inspections and field trials.
- Experience in coordinating with DGQA / Customer QA agencies.
- Knowledge of manufacturing drawings, BOMs and configuration control.
- Working knowledge of SAP/ERP.
- Experience in vendor coordination and production expediting.
- Solid leadership, communication and cross-functional coordination.
