About the Role

Codincity Digital Technologies is looking for a Manual Testing Engineer with solid experience in software quality assurance, test execution, defect management, and functional testing. The ideal candidate should have good analytical skills and the ability to work closely with development and business teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Understand business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Execute test cases and identify, document, and track defects.
- Perform defect retesting and regression testing after fixes.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Prepare test execution reports and maintain testing documentation.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide inputs from a testing perspective.




- Ensure software releases meet defined quality standards.
- Support UAT and production validation activities when required.

Required Skills
- 3-8 years of experience in Manual Software Testing.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Hands-on experience in test case creation and execution.
- Good understanding of defect life cycle and bug tracking tools.
- Experience with JIRA / Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Good understanding of functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Basic knowledge of SQL/database testing is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
