Position Summary

SASMOS is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead business growth and customer engagement activities within the Israel Aerospace & Defence market. The role will serve as the primary commercial interface for opportunities related to Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS), cable harnesses, electrical integration assemblies, and related aerospace and defence products.

The position combines strategic business development with proposal and RFQ management. Approximately 70% of the role will focus on managing the complete RFQ lifecycle, including opportunity assessment, proposal development, cross-functional coordination, commercial reviews, bid submission, and contract negotiations. The remaining 30% will focus on developing new business opportunities, expanding existing customer relationships, identifying future programs, and positioning SASMOS as a preferred EWIS partner within the region.

The incumbent will lead a team of two RFQ and Proposal Executives and work closely with Engineering, Program Management,



Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Contracts teams across SASMOS' global operations to ensure timely and competitive responses to customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the company's growth strategy for the Israel market. This includes identifying and pursuing new opportunities with aerospace and defence OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, avionics manufacturers, UAV and missile system integrators, and other strategic customers. The role requires building robust relationships with customer procurement, engineering, program management, and leadership teams to understand future business requirements and create a sustainable pipeline of opportunities.
