- Planning and scheduling transportation routes and deliveries.
- Managing drivers and transport staff.
- Ensuring vehicles are properly maintained and roadworthy.
- Monitoring fuel usage and controlling transportation costs.
- Ensuring compliance with transport laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintaining transport records, logs, and reports.
- Coordinating with customers, suppliers, and warehouse teams.
- Handling delivery delays, accidents, and other transport-related issues.
- Monitoring vehicle performance using GPS or fleet management systems.
- Improving transport efficiency and customer satisfaction.
