About the Opportunity

This opportunity is for
PhD-level Biology Experts
interested in contributing to advanced AI safety and evaluation projects. The role involves applying deep scientific expertise to evaluate and strengthen how next-generation AI systems understand and respond to specialized life-science topics.

No prior AI or machine learning experience is required. Training on the project workflow and evaluation process will be provided.

Responsibilities
- Develop expert-level prompts across specialized biology and life-science domains.
- Evaluate and annotate AI-generated responses for
scientific accuracy, quality, helpfulness, and appropriate handling of sensitive content
.
- Apply structured evaluation guidelines to classify prompts, responses, and conversations.
- Use scientific expertise and critical reasoning to identify inaccuracies, gaps,



or potential risks in AI-generated content.
- Contribute to improving the safety, reliability, and scientific accuracy of advanced AI systems.

Required Qualifications
- PhD in Biology or a closely related Life Sciences field — ongoing or completed.
- Relevant areas of expertise may include
Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Virology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Synthetic Biology, Immunology
, or related disciplines.
- Deep familiarity with modern laboratory and/or computational techniques within your area of specialization.
- Strong scientific reasoning, analytical, and technical writing skills in English.
- Sound professional judgment regarding
biosecurity and responsible handling of dual-use scientific information

- Robust attention to detail and ability to follow structured evaluation guidelines.
