About the Role

ISST is looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our content and marketing team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of short-form and long-form video content and be comfortable creating engaging content for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and other digital platforms.

You will work closely with the marketing, business development and academic teams to turn events, student activities, sports properties, interviews and other initiatives into engaging video content.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos, Reels, Shorts and social media content.
- Edit long-form videos, interviews, podcasts, event videos and promotional content.
- Create engaging sports-related content with strong pacing, storytelling and visual appeal.
- Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, sound effects and music as required.
- Work on videos covering sports events, student activities, workshops, seminars and institutional initiatives.
- Repurpose long-form footage into multiple short-form content pieces.




- Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to understand campaign objectives and content requirements.
- Maintain consistency in ISST's visual identity and video style.
- Organise and manage video assets, footage and project files efficiently.
- Stay updated with current social media video trends, editing styles and formats.
- Occasionally assist with on-ground video shoots and event coverage.

Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in video editing.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or similar editing software.
- Good understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other social-first video formats.
- Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, music selection and visual composition.
- Knowledge of basic motion graphics and animation.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- A solid interest in sports will be an advantage.
