Roles and Responsibilities
- Review and selection of right transportation vendors
- Management of Primary and Secondary Transportation cost
- Vehicle planning and follow up with transporters for vehicle placements.
- Ability to scale up the operations during peak demand periods
- Regular alignment of service level agreement with Sales and customers; efforts to improve them continuously
- Follow-up with transporter, WH & HO for submission and clearance of WH and logistics bills
- Identify and select the right 3PL partner for managing modern plant warehouse and Branch operations
- Enabling processes to ensure 100% Inventory accuracy, Cycle Count and Monthly/Quarterly Inventory Audit.




- Managing Inbound from manufacturing unit and contract manufacturers and ensuring smooth outbound operations for Stock Transfers (STO) and Billing (Trade, Up-to-date Trade, Retail etc)
- Where appropriate, oversee the maintenance & operation of WMS & automated storage & retrieval systems implementation
- MIS and Reporting- Daily Operations update, Throughput performance and Cost update.
- Manage large scale Ecommerce Supply chain- Outright, Vendor Flex, Alphalite and Market Place business.
- Tracking and closure of returns from Ecommerce customers and branch warehouses.
- Ability to scale up the operations during festive season without compromising quality.
