Commercial & Operations Role: B2B Purchase Portal & MIS Executive

*Key Responsibilities*

Independently handle the day-to-day functioning of the B2B Purchase Portal. Regularly monitor the portal for new requirements, available quantities, product availability and order status. Create and process purchase orders through the B2B portal as per management instructions. Monitor order acceptance, confirmation and allocation status on the portal. Track material allocation against each order and maintain an updated allocation MIS. Monitor plant/location-wise availability and allocation of material. Track the complete status of each order from order placement to material dispatch. Maintain a detailed order-wise and plant-wise purchase MIS. Track pending, partially allocated, fully allocated and dispatched orders separately. Monitor daily dispatches through the portal and update the internal dispatch tracker. Track quantity ordered vs. quantity allocated vs. quantity dispatched vs. quantity pending.



Maintain product/category/grade-wise purchase data, wherever applicable. Regularly check the portal for changes in order status, allocation, dispatch schedules or other updates. Ensure all orders and portal transactions are properly recorded and updated in the internal MIS. Download and maintain relevant order confirmations, dispatch details, reports and other portal-generated documents. Coordinate with the concerned supplier/company representatives for portal-related queries, allocation issues, order status and dispatch-related matters. Follow up for pending allocations and delayed dispatches. Identify any discrepancy between the order placed and the material allocated/dispatched and coordinate for resolution. Maintain historical data of orders, allocations and dispatches for management analysis. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly B2B Portal MIS for management.
